Demo Days announced - Thursday, August 13, 2009

Demo Days Added - Free Preview Class Kindermusik International, the world’s most respected name in children’s musical learning, is hosting a world-wide class of free musical learning to children around the globe. On September 8, 10 and 13, Ms. Tabby from Harmony Music Studio is participating in Demo Days – a campaign in which more than 5,000 licensed Kindermusik educators are invited to conduct free class demonstrations for families around the world. The Demo Days classes will be offered at the studio in Friendswood, although Ms. Tabby travels to Pearland and Webster to offer classes in those communities during the regular semester. ~ Register Now! ~ “It’s so exciting to be one of the thousands of educators joining in Demo Days,” says Ms. Tabby, licensed Kindermusik educator. “Nothing compares to the joy I see in children’s faces during Kindermusik class, and to think all these faces are lighting up around the world is heartwarming,” she adds. Kindermusik International (www.kindermusik.com) is the world’s leading publisher of music and movement curricula and products for parents and their children ages newborn to seven years old. Kindermusik educators provide tips that parents can take home from each class to help make great parenting easier in their daily routine. Ninety-nine percent (99%) of Kindermusik parents would recommend it to other parents according to a Harris Interactive Online Study in November 2005 Demo Days will be offered in Friendswood at 3746-A FM 528 Rd (Harmony Music Studio) on Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th at 10:30 and 11:30 am on both days, and Sunday, September 13 at 6:00 pm. Parents should reserve their spot by registering online in advance. The Kindermusik fall class schedule will begin September 14th. Classes are open to everybody and registrations are accepted through September 21 in Pearland, and throughout the semester in Webster and Friendswood. Early Enrollment Discount Students who are registered for class on or before August 14th for classes in Friendswood or Webster will save an additional 10% off tuition. Our local piano experts at Forshey are having their final HBU piano clearance event! If you've been hoping to buy a piano for your family, this is a great place to find one.

HOUSTON, TX -- For the past 20 years, Forshey Piano Company has provided new performance-quality grand and upright pianos for the HBU School of Music. These pianos are sold at the end of each school year at a substantial discount along with additional pianos provided by Forshey Piano during an on-campus piano sale.

This year will mark the 20^th and FINAL HBU School of Music Piano Sale. Forshey Piano will host this historic event at their main showroom and warehouse at 1240 Clear Lake City Blvd. (next to Ellington Field). HBU will no longer receive pianos on loan, but has instead purchased new Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos for instruction and performance. This sale will be the last opportunity to receive the special HBU pricing from Forshey Piano.

Pianos available include grands, baby grands, studio size uprights, console size uprights, and quality digital pianos. Name brands include Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos used at HBU, as well as Kawai, Young Chang, Palatino, Walters, Bergmann, Kohler & Campbell, and Estonia. You may attend on Friday, August 21^st, or on Saturday, August 22^nd by making an appointment. These are the “First Choice Sale Days.” Appointments are scheduled to limit the number of people in the store at any one time. When too many people are playing at once, it’s very difficult to hear the full potential of each instrument.

The Public Sale Day is on Sunday, August 23^rd. No appointment is necessary on Sunday.

If you wish to enroll in lessons or classes, you have several choices: You can call to schedule an interview with one of our teachers, or you can download, print and mail our registration packet, and someone will contact you to find a good lesson time for you and the appropriate teacher.

You can download the policy and registration form in PDF format by following the link below. To complete your registration and reserve your lesson with the studio, you must return these forms along with your registration fee ($50 annually for private lessons) to the studio. You can mail them or deliver them in person.
